This part-time position requires primarily nightcoverage, with shifts running from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role involves covering 5-6shifts per month and managing a wide variety of emergency department (ED)patients, focusing on treating lower-acuity cases.<br>As a Locums Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant, you will be responsible forproviding care to ED patients, with a primary focus on minor complaints andlower-acuity cases. Your duties will include performing minor procedures suchas incision and drainage (I&D) and laceration repairs. Additionally, youwill conduct patient evaluations, complete histories, and develop treatmentplans.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:0in;line-height:normal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";mso-font-kerning:0pt;mso-ligatures:none">The role alsoincludes performing some administrative tasks related to patient care. You willcollaborate with attending physicians, who will primarily handle critically illpatients, STEMI, and stroke cases. While you are expected to see a broad rangeof patient complaints, you will not perform invasive procedures such as centrallines, intubations, or lumbar punctures. Instead, your focus will remain onminor complaints and procedures, ensuring timely and high-quality care forpatients.<br>This position primarily requires night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
